Folding your Luggie first go

It doesn't always go smoothly the first time you try and fold a Luggie and load it into a car. But this effort is pretty good for this carer as she tries for the first time. The only thing she got wrong was to make sure she held on to the seat when she pressed the seat release button. Apart from that it was a pretty good effort for a first try.

Luggies are quick and easy to load into a car, especially if you don’t need to fold them fully. A half fold makes it lighter to lever into the car, meaning you don’t have to lift the whole scooter. Most folding mobile scooters must fold fully, making lifting the scooter just that little more difficult – at least 20kgs and as much as 30 kgs. The Luggie half-fold lift can be as light as 13 kgs, depending on the model. And compared to an auto fold portable the Luggie is much faster to fold, lighter, and less complicated mechanically.
