Visit Luggie Australia at the ATSA Independent Living Expo

Coming up on the 18-19 May, the Luggie Australia team will be at the Melbourne Showground for the ATSA Independent Living Expo. This is a great opportunity to meet our team, see our products on display and learn about how they work.

We’ll be set up at the Luggie Australia stall, where we’ll have the entire Luggie range – all 8 models including the new wide track models – on display. Visit our stall and learn more about the different folding positions that make the Luggie the most versatile folding scooter on the market.

What is ATSA?

ATSA (Assistive Technology Suppliers Australia) hosts the biggest independent living expo in Australia. This year, the expo will kick off at the Melbourne Showgrounds before moving to Claremont Showgrounds (WA) on the 26-27 May, then to Canberra 27-28 October.

The expo is an opportunity for anyone who works with assistive technology to meet, test products, and learn more about the industry.

Luggie Australia will have a booth set up in Melbourne from 18-19 May to display our range of Luggie scooters.

How do I attend?

The ATSA Independent Living Expo is free to attend whether you’re a therapist, end-user, ATSA member, or a member of the general public. You can register to attend on the ATSA website. They also offer free parking and free access to seminars.

The website also provides helpful details about travel and accommodation, if you’re coming from interstate or regional areas.

What is Luggie Australia offering?

The Luggie Australia team will be at the Melbourne Showground to talk to therapists, end-users, and the general public about the range of Luggie scooters. This expo gives visitors the rare opportunity to see all 8 models on display at once and see how they work up-close.

We will also be displaying the newly released LuggieLift – two models of Luggie hoists that help you lift the Luggie into your car. There’s even a hoist that fits on your towbar. With the LuggieLift, there’s no need to have your car re-wired as the hoist uses the battery on the scooter.

About the Luggie scooter

If you don’t know much about the Luggie or have never tried one before, the exhibition is a great chance to see how they work and learn about the benefits.

The main appeal of the Luggie is that it’s small, lightweight, and portable, making it great for anyone who needs to travel regularly by car, public transport, or even by plane.

Learn more about the Luggie by browsing our selection online, contacting us, or by visiting us at the Melbourne Showground on 18-19 May.

We hope to see you there!
