Merits Regal 139    

New from Merits, this medium sized three wheel scooter is packed full of features: Parallel dash adjustment that keeps the dashboard pointing in the right direction no matter how the tiller is adjusted; full suspension; full lights kit; two tone colouring; fully adjustable seat; powerful 4 pole motor with 110 amp electronics; easy-adjust tiller with no need to bend forward to adjust settings; loop style handlebars making it easier to reach the throttle with either thumb or fingers. With a carrying capacity of 150 kgs and 50 a/h batteries, this scooter will suit most people wanting a robust and powerful mid sized scooter with a good turning circle at a competitive price. Features are the same as for the Regal 139 three wheeler, but with the added feeling of stability of a 4 wheeler. Manoeuvrability is not as good as the 3 wheeler (as is the case with all 4 wheelers), but is nevertheless quite adequate. Same motor and electronics as the 3 wheeler (above). This scooter also comes in an economy version (149E) with a smaller 2 pole motor, 35 a/h batteries and 70 amp electronics - for those users that are after a Merits quality scooter at a budget price, with less requirements for power or carrying capacity. Handles up to 135kg payload.

Merits Sprinter 4

Budget premium range mid size mobility scooter from Merits using the same sub frame and body panels as the Merits Challenger but with less features, and a less powerful motor and electronics. This scooter is specifically designed for those wanting the quality of the Merits scooter brand at a lower price and do not have the terrain or payload restraints that would require a more powerful scooter like the Challenger. Performance is nevertheless comparable with most mid sized scooters in this class.  In summary: Top quality scooter with high level of reliability, as with all Merits products, but at a budget price. Merits Challenger 3

Stylish larger mid sized 3 wheeler with strong stability factor built into the design. This is the top-of-the-range scooter for its class. Quality throughout in both design and appearance, both Challengers feature: Rear adjustable shock absorber coil spring suspension; full lights kit; excellent turning circle; front and rear bumper bars; very comfortable contoured sliding seat; powerful motor / electronics for its class. The Challengers also feature an easy adjust steering column without the need to bend down.
