Scooters Australia have been selling and servicing mobility scooters in the corporate sector ever since Warringah Mall in Sydney purchased three Suzuki mobility scooters in 1993.
Since 1992 we have supplied scooters to Shopping Malls, Insurance Companies, Government Departments and various corporate customers all over Australia. And we have continued our commitment to maintaining those scooters through our service departments and mobile service vans in every location.
If you are in need of quality mobility scooters that can handle up to 200 kg in carrying capacity, or need to have your current scooters serviced or repaired, phone us and we will arrange to visit you as soon as possible. We have stores in all states.
"Thanks for the help and great service. It's really appreciated. As they say - it's a pleasure doing business with you"

All products sold by Scooters Australia are registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration. Because scooters are regarded as a medical device, they are subject to the requirements of the TGA. This means that they must comply with stringent standards that are sourced from European standards, the most stingent in the world. Not all scooters currently imported into Australia are TGA compliant.
Three or Four Wheels?
This is a question often asked. Three wheels are more manoeuvrable and have greater leg room, but four wheels are a little more stable. Or there's the new Monarch HYBRID scooter that is a good compromise between the two, with a double front wheel for that added stability.
Some of our models can handle up to 220 kgs, but the bigger the capacity the bigger the scooter. We have models that are a good compromise in the 130 - 160 kg capacity range.
Scooters Australia can negotiate very favourable prices, depending on volumes and models. We can also quote on a service contract that will keep the scooters in tip-top condition at all times.
All our scooters can be programmed to a speed that suits your requirements. We can also fit a safety flag, and talk to your about safety training for your staff. You can read more about safety here.
We like the Hybrid because of its stability and manoevrability, combining the best aspects of both three and four wheelers - (see picture, right). However, all the Monarch range have a very good track record in serviceability and reliability. We can supply scooters from almost all brands currently available. But by far the best way to proceed is to talk to a store manager in your area and see for yourself.
Special Customised Scooters
We customise scooters for specific requirements, be that for display purposes, special advertising message board carriers, warehouse picker units, and most other designs that are specified. We also act for manufacturers that have designed scooters for mass use applications such as Disneyland, Singapore Zoo (see picture, left), and many shopping malls around Australia.
We can help
If your staff are struggling to deal with heavy pushing or lifting, we have some solutions.
Our Wheelchair Power Pack (right) can be fitted to most manual wheelchairs and make life so much easier for your staff. All they have to do is to steeer the wheelchair and the powerpack does the rest. It converts the manual chair to an attendant operated electric chair at minimal cost.
In Geelong we have been able to supply multiple units to an aged care facility that have enabled the staff to operate more efficiently and at the same time reduce the risk of health issues from having to push patients around in manual chairs.
Need an Ambulance?
Parkland Villas in Booragoon in Western Australia, needed to be able to get staff quickly around to any residents who were in need of help. And staff were not happy about having to drag around medical equipment to meet their needs.
A fast solution was to purchase a double seat electric scooter with a large carry deck to accommodate the equipment and to transport patiens when needed. The advantage of a scooter over a golf cart is the narrow footprint, enabling the scooter to be used inside as well as outdoors.
Lend Lease, the owners of Booragoon, purchased one of our double seat scooters to do the job and the staff are now very happy. At right is the scooter fitted with a canopy for the winter rains.
All our stores throughout the country have workshops with mobile service / repair facilities. Trained technicians are able to repair most makes of scooter as long as parts are still available. All our own scooters are backed with parts inventories from our Melbourne warehouse. Because we only stock major brands, our parts backup is well resourced.
A fully maintained scooter is the best way to ensure that your fleet remains in service at all times. This is especially important around peak times. We can supply you with scooters that are under a fully maintained contract for the first 2 years with a further 2 year option. Alternatively, if you already own a fleet of scooters, we can quote on providing you with a maintenance program to keep your current scooters running smoothly. Don't put up with inferior service and repairs. Scooters Australia have been looking after mobility scooters for over 20 years. Phone your closest store for help and advice.
And remember - when you are next thinking for updating your fleet, choose a company that can look after your scooters well into the future.
We are able to supply parts, tyres, batteries, battery chargers for all our models of scooters and for most other brands. When new parts are not available some used parts can often be sourced from our stock of dismantled scooters.
